4 `+ j" F; ^& [# F! f. z. e3 p) Q 郑世武先生出生于1947年，他的父亲郑一飞先生是湖州颇有名气的画师。郑世武先生自幼酷爱书画，勤奋学习、虚心求教、刻苦取精。郑先生早年曾在浙江美术学院攻读过美术理论和
素描西画，在上世纪60年代初进入上海国画
艺术社工作，后转入上海工艺美术工厂，任专职画师，其间曾出版过连环画、宣传画。多年来，郑世武先生在借鉴各种绘画风格的基础上，融会贯通形成自身的风格和特点，书画技法曰益精湛，山水花鸟、人物走兽，无不精通。他笔墨探及的领域题材广泛，形式多样。郑先生的画作不仅承传了中国古代书画中的笔墨功底，而且吸收了西画中的造型、光学
艺术。展开他的画卷，一股清新之气扑面而来，远山的苍茫深厚，近水的灵秀流动，带着晨露的牡丹、飘在微风中的紫藤、雨雪后的梅竹、兰草带着扑鼻的清气、憨态可掬形态各异的小猫、振翅搏击的苍鹰……不论是墨块的渲染还是意象的捕捉，都见其纯熟的笔墨技巧和扎实的笔韵功底，令人叹服。几十年来，郑先生不以物喜、不以己悲，耐得寂寞、超然物外，潜心于书画
创作之中。他的
作品曾多次在国内外有关刊物上发表，并流传到曰本、新加坡及港台地区。先生一生坎坷，但对
艺术的研究孜孜不倦，虽然早年身处逆境，但生活的磨砺造就了这位当代书画家。他擅长书法，他的字自在飘逸，潇洒中蕴含着遒劲、脱俗，字如其人，画如其人。

The city of Huzhou is a prosperous place with much literary in Zhejiang province. It has many celebrated personages asgreat artists,from Zhao Mengfu in Yuan dynasty to Wu Changshuo,Wang Geyi,Zhu Lesan,Tan Jiancheng in present age.Alltheir works of brush and ink were influenced by the civilization and cultural heritage of ancient Huzhou. Mr. Zheng Shiwu, a member of Chinese Arts and Crafts Association and a member of Shanghai Crafts and Arts Design Association,is a famouscontemporary artists in this area. Mr. Zheng was born in 1947.His father, Mr. Zheng Yifei was a local famous painter in Huzhou.Mr. Zheng who loveschinese paintings and calligraphy fervently from his childhood is diligent and modest in his assiduous study.He majored inthe subjects of aesthetics and sketch at Zhejiang Arts College in his early years.He worked in Shanghai Chinese Painting Bureau in 1960s,then served as a professional painter in Shanghai Arts and Crafts Factory. During this period,his comicbooks and propaganda paintings were published to the public. Mr. Zheng achieves his own characteristics and proficient techiques through a comprehensive study of all kinds of artistic styles.He is proficient in each traditional subject such as landscape,flower and birds,figure,and also animals.The areas which he involved are extensive and diversiform. His paintings not only have chinese painting conventionality and also absorb western drawing skills such as shape and structure,colorful and unique expression and so on..The volume of his works is filled with delicate tone,in which there are dark green valleies,clear running streams,peonies with dew, great fragrant orchid,plenty of lovable cats, purple rattan in breeze,grey eagles opening the wings,etc..Either the variation of ink colours or the passion and impression of the brush is admirably proficient. Mr. Zheng has studied intensively in the artistic creation with a kind of plain and simple as notions of life and society for decades. His works has published in native and foreign periodicals for many times,and also been spread to Japan, Singapore,Hongkong and Taiwan.His life is full of fustrations,but he is still eager for artistic study. Mr. Zheng is also specializes in calligraphy.The style of his penmanship is graceful and elegant without vulgarity,just as the style of the man.
